Grumman Corporation's operations are classified into 4 business segments; aerospace, electronics, information and other systems and special purpose vehicles. The aerospace division includes the design and production of military aircraft, space systems and modernization of previously completed aircraft. The electronics systems division includes the design, manufacture and integration of sophisticated electronics for aircraft and other defense related products. Special purpose vehicles includes fabrication of long life vehicles for the postal service and truck bodies. Information and other services provide electronic data processing services, real estate and leasing services. Aerospace accounted for 54% of 1993 revenues; electronic systems, 18%; information and other services, 18% and special purpose vehicles, 10%.
