Aerosonic Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to manufacture and sell aircraft instruments through its subsidiaries. It operates through four divisions: Clearwater Instruments, Aerosonic Wichita, Avionic Specialties and Precision Component Division. Clearwater Instruments manufactures altimeters, airspeed indicators, rate of climb indicators, microprocessor controlled air data test sets, and various other flight instrumentation. Avionics division maintains three product lines in the aircraft instrument segment: angle of attack stall warning systems; integrated multifunction probes, which are integrated air data sensors; and other aircraft sensors and monitoring systems. Precision Components division performs high volume precision machining of mechanical components. Its manufacturing units are located in Florida, Virginia, and Kansas. The products are sold to manufacturers of commercial and private aircraft, both domestic and foreign, and the U.S. military services.
