Awilco ASA(AWILCO). The Group's principal activity is to run shipping and offshore operations. The Group has an international fleet of tankers mainly for transportation of oil and crude oil in the North Sea, India and the Middle East. The Group operates through the following divisions: suezmax tankers (transportation of oil mainly from the Middle East) and product tankers (transportation of oil to and from India). The Company sold it's shuttle tanker operations in 2001. Suezmax operations accounted for 49% of 2001 revenues; product tankers, 27% and shuttle tanker operations, 24%.
