Rederi AB Transatlantic. The Group's principal activities are the development and supplies of marine transport solutions. The Group operates through the following business areas: Transatlantic Services (transports primarily for the forest-products industry, with elements of other types of cargo, on behalf of the steel industry, for instance); European Services (comprises scheduled operations between Sweden and the UK and Sweden and the Continent) and Ice breaking and Offshore (the Group's special shipping area, in which combined vessels break ice in wintertime and serve the offshore industry during the remainder of the year). It divested Dry Cargo during the second quarter of 2005. The Group acquired Gorthon Lines AB in 2005.
