Company Description
Asian Terminals Incorporated(ATI). The Group's principal activity is providing general services with respect to the operation and management of port terminals in the Philippines. The Group operates through the following divisions: Ports and Non-Ports: The Ports operation provides services related to the handling of containers to and from vessels, loading and unloading of cargoes, storage and operations of passenger shipping terminals. The Non-ports business provides services which include planning, implementing and controlling the efficient, cost-effective, and just-in-time flow and storage of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished goods and related information from point of origin to point of consumption. The Group also operates four international ports that includes the Container Terminal and General Stevedoring Terminal at the South Harbor, Port of Manila, Port of Batangas and Port of General Santos City. Ports accounted for 80% of 2005 revenues and Non-Ports, 20%.
