Company Description
Xtra Corporation. The principal activity of the Group is the leasing of freight transportation equipment including over-the-road trailers, intermodal trailers, chassis and domestic containers, and marine containers. The Company leases over-the road and intermodal equipment throughout North America to contract and common motor carriers, private fleet owners and railroads. The Company's equipment fleet consists of 275,000 units, comprising of over-the-road ("OTR") trailers, intermodal equipment, including chassis, intermodal trailers, domestic containers and marine containers. The leasing operations of the Company are carried out through three divisions: XTRA Lease, XTRA Intermodal and XTRA International.
