Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Francais(SNCF). The Group's principal activities are broadly classified into four main categories - Freight division, responsible for the Group's rail and road transport and logistics business; Passenger-Public Transport, brings together the Group's contracted urban and intercity passenger transport - train, bus, tram and metro activities; Passenger-France Europe division groups non-contracted rail and ferry operations, and is also responsible for the roll-out of distribution channels and station development; and the Infrastructure division oversees the Group's mainstay infrastructure management and engineering activities and is also in charge of exporting French railway expertise and leveraging the Group's land and property assets. The Group has operations all over the world. PassengerTransportation accounted for 54 % of 2005 revs; Freight Transportation, 32% ; and outher, 14%.
