Caliber system Inc (formerly Roadway Services Inc) is a holding company which through its subsidiaries provides a broad range of transportation services, including national and regional general trucking, small package delivery and custom logistics services. In 1995 the company approved the spin-off to its shareholders of Roadway Express Inc (long haul transportation) and in addition it also announced plans to discontinue the air freight business served by Roadway Global Air Inc.
