The Group operates in four segments: Con-way transportation services, Emery forwarding, Menlo logistics and Other. The Con-way transportation services segment provides freight trucking in the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as expedited transportation, air freight forwarding and truckload brokerage services. The Emery forwarding segment provides domestic and international air freight and ocean forwarding services, customs brokerage and other trade services. The Menlo logistics segment develops integrated contract logistics solutions, including the management of distribution networks and supply engineering and consulting. The Other segment includes the operating results of road systems. Conway transportation services accounted for 42% of 2002 revenues; Emery forwarding, 38%; Menlo logistics, 20% and Other, nominal.
