Avalon Holdings Corporation. The Group's principal activities are to provide waste management services to industrial, commercial, municipal and governmental customers in selected northeastern and midwestern U.S. markets. The Group's operations are classified into two business segments: Waste Management Services and Golf and Related Operations. The waste management services segment includes waste disposal brokerage and management services and captive landfill management operations. The golf and related operations segment includes the operation and management of two golf courses, dining and banquet facilities and a travel agency. Waste Management Services accounted for 84% of 2005 gross revenues and Golf and Related Operation, 16%
