EMBA – An EMBA, or Executive MBA program, is an educational track designed for managers and executives. Applications from a wide variety of industries and organizations can apply for an EMBA. Though taking the GMAT is not required, applicants must have acquired at least five years of work experience.
Doctoral Studies – Business doctoral studies grants you a PhD in business, and is the highest academic degree that can be achieved. In order to qualify for doctoral studies, applications will need a MBA or similar master’s degree, and significant work experience in a management or executive position.

Accreditation – More and more online degrees are offered through the internet; however, not all offered programs are accredited. Avoid programs that are not accredited, as most employers and universities will not recognize your degree. Costs – The costs of business school include tuition, books, living expenses and other fees, and can become quite expensive. MBA programs offered at business school can range from $40,000 to $60,000 a year, while online schools can range from $1000 to $35,000 a year.
Flexibility – Many universities offer night classes or flexible schedules for completing your business education. If you have a job, you can continue to work while you attend classes in the evening. Online schools are especially accommodating, as it allows you to complete courses at your most convenient time. In addition, online schools allow you to learn at your own pace, and adapts to various learning styles.
Concentration – When obtaining a business education, applicants can choose from a variety of concentrations. MBAs can be obtained on a variety of topics, including international business, finance, and marketing. Determine which area best suits your strengths and your future career goals.
