Types of Cafeteria Tables

Know all your cafeteria table options before making a decision.

There are many types of cafeteria tables and break room tables. There are several factors to take into concideration when trying to decide what type of table will be suit your needs.

There are bench seat tables that have a steel frame with bench seats and a table top mounted to the frame. These are great for durability and fitting the most people. Another type of bench seat table is a folding mobile table. These are great when you want to be able to use the table during meal and break times, but prefer to be able to move the tables and minimize storage space to use your room for other uses in non meal and break times.

The last two most common types of tables are island type seating and pedestal tables and chairs. Island type seating can provide a durable high use options. These commonly come in booth style and individual seats. The pedestal tables can come in various sizes and pedestal styles. The pedestal table and chairs offer flexability of use for many different purposes. There are also pedestal tables that come with a flip top, these style of tables enable you to flip the top up and nest the tables together to save space when not in use.

One final type of table that may best suit your needs is the standard folding table. This style of table can come in the standard laminated table we are all familar with, but can also be made of a lightweight plastic resin. The plastic tables are not only durable, but are lightweight so that you can easily move your tables when not in use. You can also get table carts to move several tables at a time.
