KLM reservations get you flying across Europe in style and comfort

Use KLM reservations when you want to fly KLM, thought by some to be one of the finest airlines in all the world.  Primarily a European carrier, KLM does have a presence in the United States through its partner, Northwest Airlines (NWA). For many reasons European travelers consider KLM ticket reservations one of the best systems for ordering plane tickets. High on the list of reasons is its rewards program, Flying Blue--one of the top perks programs in the airline industry. Members, many of whom book their flights with a KLM Airlines reservation, can enjoy:

More than just a good rewards program, KLM flight ticketing reflects KLM's overall approach to good customer service. Review sites for the various airlines have noted that while the airlines, including KLM flight reservations, have had their share of problems, the KLM reservations office usually takes care of problems when they arise. The easiest way to get a KLM airline reservation is to go to KLM's website. Several action steps should be considered before using the KLM site.

 

Price compare KLM air reservations on the big travel sites

Despite the fact that KLM booking and reservation consistently receive high marks, sometimes airfare comes down in price. If it is possible to get a cheaper flight from one of the travel sites, it is worth looking there to buy KLM tickets before buying from KLM itself.
Try: Hit the major travel sites. Expedia.com has a section devoted to KLM flights. Orbitz also partners with KLM and can offer flight and vacation packages using their airlines.

Note that US flights will use NWA's ticket system, not KLM reservations

As mentioned, in the US KLM is partnered with NWA. Simply stated, unless you are flying out of a major city, you are going to start on a NWA flight until you get to New York or another suitably large airport. Reservation issues are difficult, but typically KLM Airways reservations agents can sort out the issue.
Try: Stay aware of the fact that you are going to be flying on a NWA flight as this traveler points out, as CSDO Media points out.  When traveling, make sure you have the contact information for your travel agent, website, or KLM airline booking center so that you know who to call should issues arise. There is no reason not to sign up for this rewards program. It offers a number of unique discounts not found in any US carrier.

  • KLM has merged with Air France, meaning that you will be flying on an Air France plane. Air France is part of the same corporate headquarters as KLM reservations.
