Photographic agencies come in handy to either provide you with pre existing photographs that they have already taken, or to work with you on setting up photo shoots to accomplish what you are aiming to capture. If you don't want to reinvent the wheel, and you think the right picture is already out there for you, a stock photo agency might be just the place for you. You will pay per picture and not be locked into a session fee.

If you are looking to choose between many poses or create many scenarios, hiring a photographer agency to set the tone and stage of your photoshoot is probably the route that you want to go. Hiring photo agencies can also help take the creative pressure off of you.

Some agencies consist of one photographer while other photo agencies are made up of many. Whatever the make up, take the time to look at the online portfolio work of the company you are considering before you go in and schedule a meeting.

• If you choose to work with a Hollywood photography agency and photographer agents, make sure that they are known for reputable photography practices and not stalkerazzi tactics.
• If you are working with a stock photo agency, make sure that the terms of your contract are clear as to the exclusivity and duration of your term are.
