If you work primarily on your computer or if your office space is small and functions as something besides your office space, mobile desks or hutches are a great option. These desks are smaller than traditional desks and have wheels so that your writing space can be moved out of the way or moved to another room when you are not working. These desks are great for multi-use or home offices as well.

Choose a portable writing desk for travel and tiny offices

If you travel often, a portable or lap desk can help you enjoy a writing surface just about anywhere. If you are injured and hospitalized or require bed rest, a lap desk also allows you to write and work in bed. These desks range from simple flat surfaces to more elaborate desks with a raised surface and storage slots.
