Brazing is the process by which two metals are joined by a third piece of metal which has a lower heat threshold. Heat is applied until the metal of lower tolerance enters a near liquefied state allowing the two remaining pieces of metal to be joined. The piece is then cooled and the three components are now conjoined. Brazing furnaces are used for heat application in this process. Having a furnace with a high enough threshold to heat the most tolerant metals to be used is important to avoid costly removal and installation of a new piece.

Review the options available before selecting a furnace. Space requirements, capacity and temperature range should be key features when surveying options available. Utilize online resources to discover client feedback and product specifications which can garner insight as to the quality and reliability of various choices. Purchasing a furnace for brazing can be costly and often business choose to assess options for used equipment and leasing arrangements. For short term production leasing can often be an economical choice with the added benefit of contracted maintenance.
