There are so many different types of glass on the market, and you'll encounter many terms that you may not be familiar with if you aren't in the industry. Thankfully, by investing some time in research, you can make an educated decision when choosing industrial glass products for construction or other projects.

Which of the many glass fabricators you choose will depend on the type of glass you're looking for. You may be interested in:

1. Insulated glass, which is typically used for doors and windows

2. Decorative glass, including colored or stained glass

3. Laminated glass, which is used for home and auto applications amongst others

When it comes to picking a glass manufacturer, you want a company that has been around for a while and knows the ins and outs of the industry. You should also look for flexibility and willingness to adapt to new technologies and ideas quickly.
Try:  Look at each company's history. Elmont Glass has been in business for over 50 years and has dealt with a wide range of big-name clients like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which says a lot about their quality. Dillmeier Glass has been around even longer, for over 75 years.

Delve into the world of decorative glass

Decorative glass is a niche that's often overlooked, but it's a vital one for many businesses. You may need specialty glass for construction projects that need to convey a certain time period of feel, or simply to add a little color to an existing structure. With so many options, there's no limit to what you can do with decorative glass.
