Using Non Skid Safety Tape

Place non slip tape in specific locations to protect your insurance liability

You can find reflective safety tape to make employees aware of dangers in locations with little light. Some manufacturers offer die-cut products and are ready for stair or walkway placement. Many come in various textures that provide a finished look to floors.

If you’re concerned about your liability with workers’ compensation insurance or due to a customer’s fall, you need to implement as many safety precautions as possible. Among the various steps you must take, consider using non skid safety tape in the following ways:

Keep rugs stationary with non-skid tape

Many rugs and mats can easily slip and move around, raising the possibility of someone tripping and falling and you facing the liability for their injuries. Line shelves with safety tape to protect fragile items

When storing fragile items on shelves, it's a good idea to line the shelves with anti-slip adhesive so that they don't fall. Additionally, consider putting non slip tape under computers and other electronics on desks to help prevent them from tumbling off the desk when jarred.

Prevent falls in factories with anti-slip tape
