BUSINESS.COM OFFERS FRESH APPROACH TO AGE-OLD QUESTION:

What are the Best Holiday Gifts?

Santa Monica, Calif., December 19, 2005 – The more than 30 million professionals reached by Business.com, the leading search engine designed and organized for business, all have one thing in common – they’re stumped on which holiday gifts will impress employees, bosses and business associates.

In recognition of the daunting task the business world faces each holiday season, below is a sampling of Business.com’s most unusual gift-related searches in December. These searches complement the well-worn favorites of personalized gift certificates, calendars and paperweights.

With high gasoline prices taking an extra bite out of paychecks, some compassionate bosses have been searching for “gift gas cards.”

Those hoping to perk up lethargic employees with an extra boost of caffeine during the holiday season have been looking for “coffee and tea baskets.” And those hoping to share in the festivities have been searching for “cheese wine baskets.”

Professionals with more active leisure pursuits have been searching for “sailing,” “golf” or “airline-themed gifts.” Professionals with exotic tastes have been tracking down “Mexican food gift baskets.” Eco-warriors who value the environment over aesthetics have been searching for both “eco-friendly gifts” and “eco-friendly corporate art.”

Highly-valued employees may be treated to a “Gucci gift set” surprise this season. Employees who may not have met their targets in ‘05 can expect “gift ideas under $5.”

And those who have severely underperformed may be the recipient of the cruelest search yet: “fake gift certificates – joke.”

Notes to Editors:
Business.com releases these authentic search terms to offer an industry-wide glimpse into the holiday gift-giving needs. These are exact terms searched on the Business.com network in December 2005.
