Associate Editor
The Associate Editor will be involved with writing, editing, tracking, managing, updating and otherwise dealing with journalistic-type content for a wide range of sites and publications, including Business.com, Work.com, DexKnows, What Works for Business (blogs, newsletters, etc.) and associated products. The Associate Editor will also manage editorial projects, including scheduling assignments and handling invoices for contractors and will identify sources of best-of-the-Web content for site topics. The Associate Editor may also be involved with helping to conceive and create online video content.

The Associate editor will review, edit and comment on content received via outside contributors, and will also be involved with creating content ideas and titles. This person will need to work within BDCs in-house publishing systems, as well as outside web-based collaboration sites used to coordinate work with third-party contractors.

Using advanced Web search techniques, the Associate Editor will have responsibilities for finding appropriate resources to include in articles; fact-check check links and resources submitted by others, and seek out news items of interest to site users, such as small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Channel Editor / Weddings
In general, Channel Editors are involved with writing, editing, tracking, managing, updating and otherwise dealing with text and video content for several business-to-business and business-to-consumer sites and publications, including Business.com, Work.com, DexKnows, What Works for Business (blogs, newsletters, etc.) and associated products.

Channel Editors own the vertical site or topic area(s) of their expertise and must recruit expert topic contributors and manage editorial projects. They must schedule assignments, handle freelancer contracts and invoices, plus identify and execute on sources of best-of-the-web content (both text and video) for specific site channels such as technology, retail and management, or vertical categories such as weddings, home improvement, insurance and others.

Channel Editors will write original content; review, edit and comment on content received via outside contributors, and will also be involved with creating content ideas and titles. Channel Editors must be able to work with and in some cases, help develop in-house publishing systems, as well as outside web-based collaboration sites used to coordinate work with third-party contractors.

Customer Care Representative
Customer Care Representative (CCR) is responsible for maintaining CRM data integrity with regards to proper Client, Account and Lead assignment. The CCR is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a segment of Business.com's Featured Listing clients as well as all Standard Listing clients. The position involves account support for a select group of active clients as well as handling incoming questions from Self-Service Enrollment clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure lead sources are updated daily in CRM
  • Maintain the Client Review Queue in CRM on a daily basis
  • Handle reactive and proactive client issues based on pre-determined service level requirements.
  • Utilize campaign optimization, product knowledge and objection handling skills to ensure a specific client retention goal.
  • Re-define client needs and campaign goals to assist in further optimization of each campaign.
  • Create proposals as needed as well as coordinating/implementing mapping optimizations.
  • Review/update Titles, Descriptions, URLs/landing pages, Tracking codes, Categories, CPCs, and Multi-links.
  • Follow-up with client base on a pre-determined scheduled using emails and phone calls.

The Search Marketing Analyst will take the lead in reporting and analysis for Business.com's extensive Search Marketing efforts (Keyword PPC Advertising). The SMA role will be focused on reporting and analyzing program performance trends as well as identifying opportunities for system optimizations. This person should be highly inquisitive, analytical, pro-active, organized and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of all aspects of core reporting to demonstrate program success, including weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting. Report program performance to senior executives.
  • Monitor and analyze program performance to identify areas of opportunity for system optimization. The candidate must be able to quickly diagnose performance issues and propose and implement solutions.

  • This position involves design, implementation, and maintenance of current and future web based applications. The position involves assisting with pre-sale activities, optimizing and up-selling existing advertisers, general account management and providing daily support to achieve team revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work side by side with Strategic Account Executives (SAEs) to sell into new business and assist with up-selling existing clients
