Update your legal assistant training with occasional seminars

Once you have certification as a paralegal, you may want to keep your knowledge fresh. You can do this by periodically attending seminars that will teach you the latest skills associated with the field.
  • If you are a working legal assistant, your employer may pay for you to attend additional courses for legal assistants. Check with your human resources department for information on the company's policy on paying for continuing education courses.
