Cloth coffee filters are becoming popular among those who think paper filters are wasteful. But while cloth filters can last several months, they are difficult to clean, as grinds tend to stick to them. However, cloth does allow the coffee's natural oils to seep through. Bear in mind that cloth filters may have chemicals, just as paper filters may.
