Save space in your office with folding office chairs

Foldable office chairs can be tucked away into a closet or utility room, out of the way and out of sight. You can take them out when you need them for meetings and put them back away when you’re done. These chairs have a number of benefits for your office or educational setting.

1. Office folding chairs are lightweight and can be easily moved from place to place.
2. A foldable office chair takes up less space than a stackable or regular chair and can be hidden away until it’s needed.
3. Foldable chairs are durable, stain-resistant and will last for years.

While a foldable office chair typically is not as attractive as other seating options, it does serve a purpose. When you need to save space, but still have seating available, folding chairs may be your answer.
 

Consider when and where you'll be using an office folding chair

Folding office chairs work well for adding seating, but they may not be as stylish or attractive as other options. If you are looking to make a statement in the board room, an office folding chair is probably not going to be a good choice. If you're looking for many chairs to fill a hotel conference room or for chairs with tablet arms for training, foldable office chairs may be a good choice.
Try: Buy a chair with a folding tablet arm for training rooms or any other situation where people need a surface to write on. Plastic folding chairs can be used outside without corroding. Purchase a foldable chair and dining set for break rooms, cafeterias or catering.

Look for durable office folding chairs for sale

You've probably already had experience with plastic folding office chairs that feel off balance and too delicate. These are not the type of office folding chairs that you want. Instead, look for chairs that can handle weights of over 300 pounds, have solid cross braces and are made of a material that won't chip or crack.

Add padding to the foldable chair for extra comfort

Try: Purchase a hanging chair dolly, which will fit into tight areas. Many businesses also like the traditional chair dollies that hold chairs secure and allow you to wheel them to where you want to go.

• Measure the space you have available for folding or stackable chairs. Many stackable chairs offer better comfort than most folding chairs so you may want to consider stackable chairs if possible.
