You may wonder why you would ever need a rental printer. After all printers are fairly inexpensive and usually have a year warranty why would you want to spend money at a rate of so many dollars per day to use a printer? To be honest, that depends on your business. Maybe you don't usually do a lot of printing, or you only own a basic printer and are working on a project that requires more advanced printing. On the other hand maybe you have a high tech printer that uses very expensive ink and you suddenly need to print out a couple thousand flyers. When you weigh the cost or expense of using that ink, or purchasing an expensive high tech printer you will only need once it makes more sense to consider printer rental.
Suppose you're in the middle of a very important project and your printer dies on you. It's under warranty and you'll get a replacement but it'll take a few weeks to get it to you. What happens to your project? If you contact a printer rental company you'll be back to printing the same day.
It may not be that you think of renting a printer every day, and may not have even known it was possible until now, but in the end if you really need a printer that will do a specific job, or within a specific time frame a rental printer is the way to go.
