Anyone know of a good CRM that is at no or very little cost?
I am a single proprietor, and have created an xls file with contact info and follow up activity. It would be nice to have something in the cloud I can access anywhere and with any device. I don't need the horsepower of Salesforce and don't have the income.
Capsule CRM has both paid and free versions. I used it for 2 years and was generally pleased with it.
Hi Rick, Zoho and salesforce and the likes have been around and offer a robust and scalable solution. It really depends on what are you trying to get out of the system. You can start looking at simple WP plugins like vCita or SalesBoom as well. vCita is a very good appointment management and scheduling software (well you cannot call it a complete CRM) that I have used for tons of small startups including my own, SalesBoom offers great flexibility and is scalable.
Check out Zoho CRM and their other apps that go along with it. I think it's free for up to 3 users. I use Zoho mail, CRM and Docs. Depending on what you need you might look at Basecfamp as well. I know Sugar CRM is popular with a lot of small businesses for it's low cost and flexibility. Good luck. Let us know what you decide on...
I think there are two CRM products to consider at no or very little cost: Zoho or Insightly. The best choice may depend on the specific feature set needed:
*Free for up to 3 users
*Allow for easy customization [done differently]
*Include Social Media integration [done differently]
Unique to Zoho...
*Provides Campaign management, Email marketing, and Web Forms
*Integrates Inventory Management features
*Ability to find & merge duplicate records [doing this manually is a pain]
Unique to Insigntly...
*Tight integration with Google
*Project Management features
Hopefully, this is helpful?
Jack is right Zoho.com is a great CRM for a start-up. Good Luck
Check PipeDrive.com out. It is very "action-oriented" though, and doesn't fit every use case (like, if you just need some kind of basic "client registry", you may find something simpler). But it's amazingly useful when used right, and works flawlessly.
I've used Outlook and Zoho. Even the pay version of Zoho is not that expensive.
I agree with Jeff regarding Zoho. We use it everyday and continue to use it even more as our business expands. Salesforce.com is the best but it is very costly and in the end it has many bells and whistles that small companies don't need or use.
Zoho.com has a very good CRM that I have used in multiple startups. It can grow with you as you expand. I especially like the way it can integrate with my email so that every inbound and outbound email is associated with the appropriate Lead or Account.
I think this link answers some of your doubts/questions ! Cheers :-)
