What is the best way to raise money for my school project?
We manufacture craft products and have now started developing craft activity for schools. Given the huge number of schools in the geographical state Maharashtra (in India), the project has suddenly become too large for us to finance alone as we need to produce a great deal very fast. Schools also need the products by June 2015. The returns are also fast. We need funding as we just do not have the capital to carry out the project.
Do you have a project report for the funding required and the orders to back up this report. Using my network of nearly 6000 Associates in 47 countries I could arrange the funding required.
You can go for crowd funding. If you want, I can connect you to some of the VC. Please write me back at help.nris @ g m a i l . c o m
Register as SSI unit and be in touch with Banks to get the loan and the same will help you to create a business organisation. The SSI will give you a milage
It comes down to team work by in. Where people contribute time and materials.
Huge is bottle drive but use social media to get it out and the parents drive groups of kids they have so much fun.
Book Sale, stuffed toy sale, garage sale where all money goes to school, flower bunch sales from the yard ( it is that time of year ).
Parent challenges you will find a lot of ideas on google.
Bottom line make it group and fun let the kids be key involved and you will be shocked at the money you can drive in.
Best of success.

Start with your own government looking for grants,,,, check with large companies ask for help.... But first you must have a good business plan developed
Yes..we are in the process of doing just that, a business plan. We will also start looking at funds and agencies who invest.
Raising money for school project is not difficult , of course the easy way to go for loan from any bank if you don"t want through bank , I think you have to approach schools direct knowing their craft needs with quantities , sighning contract with them accordingly , with down payment . coolecting downpayment from No of schools will give you the chance to start , then bying the items from your suppliers on credit could make you have engouh cash for the whole project of course .which helps you to be ready on time .
Thats how we function now. However, as we are now about to go on a much bigger project, and mainly because school projects have to be completed on time, we need additional capital to work with.
If this project is non-profit.. then you can approach Corporates under CSR.. You will be able to get fund as well opening sale.

Could you find a sponsor? Perhaps an established company that makes or sells items complementary to your craft items. For example, the tools needed to create your kind of items. For them, it could be a marketing investment, making them look good for supporting school-made handicrafts.
When I was in high school, we made a thing that stores screws and nails. We got a hardware store to sponsor us. And they even displayed some of them for sale.
Thanks. We are looking for sponsors , but since the project costs are quite big (150,000 USD), I would need many sources.
Many ways to earn $. Door to door. make something and sell it, cookies muffins etc. Go to Facebook and search 4 your friends and post that you are looking to fund your project. Make sure you describe what the project is.Look for beer cans or bottles you can take in for a return. Go to local store and ask for sponsorship.
Yes, I needed to see what their need of the moment, angel investing, Venture Capital, Private Equity...
