How do I create a fluid and professional website?
This will be a networking platform focused on connecting Green Entrepreneurs to Green Investors, through socially responsible organisations such as the European Commission. The idea is to build on my privledged governmental ties in developing markets. First, I need help with my vision coming to life with a fluid and professional website.
What do you mean by "fluid and professional"?
Are you saying the purpose of the site is to impress people with how fluid and professional it is? So it loads into a browser or on mobile smoothly and quickly?
Those "qualities" should be a given for any business-oriented site. You need a site design with content and functionality that is going to achieve your business goals.
Also, whatever you come up will be imperfect out of the gate. It's impossible to have a perfect website, ever, but since it will be brand new, you will need to monitor traffic and work to improve conversions.
Some page elements will be in the wrong place. Some graphics will not be as effective as others. Spacing, position, font and photo usage and other factors will need to be tested or adjust to make certain aspects of the site more effective.
NO website has ever been designed as perfect the first time out. Keep that in mind with your expectations.
Wordpress is about the easiest and most versatile platform to begin work. You can have a wordpress template guru get your site up and going then hand the reins over to you to manage and maintain. Its about as easy to use as MS Word.
I strongly recommend you to check out this great resource with cool bootstrap themes https://www.templatemonster.com/bootstrap-website-templates/ . Since all of them are easily customizable, anyone can get started on building his/her own website. No special knowledge is required at all!
If you were looking for a personal website, I would suggest that you use an easy-to-use drag and drop website builder. But as far as I've got it, quality is your priority. So it's recommended to use the help of the web development team. From my own experience, I can recommend you to use https://3atdev.com service. I used to work with these guys and remained happy with the experience.
If you don't have much experience in website building, I think, using a website builder will be the best choice for you. Personally I did this way and used one of the web builders from http://www.webbuildersguide.com/free-website-builders/. They are easy-to-use and don't require special coding skills. Also they are available for free, so using one of them will allow you to save money. I haven't regretted my choice and was pleased with the final result. Hopefully, you will find this source to be useful!
For the front end to look good, you need to use
