Can you recommend alternatives to NextMark for finding quality email and postal lists in the US and Canada?
We really like NextMark for finding providers of email and postal lists in the US and Canada but I'm wondering if there are similar, reliable services similar to NextMark that also offer a large, searchable database of list providers like NextMark does.
Have you looked at https://infousa.com?
If you're looking of email lists for broken down by industry with a US focus, check out SumoLists.com
1.) Ankit ...Reputable list owners and management companies don't sell their lists, they are only rented and then the renter never sees the list it goes to a 3rd party to disseminate the postal marketing piece. This is especially true with email.
2.) Jeff ...At one time Direct Magazine had a service on their website called ListFinder, however, there are other ways to find lists depending on the target audience you're trying to reach.
Data.com, Melissa Data, Harte-Hanks, F1rstMark, infograph, EdithRoman, ConsumerBase are just some of the names of list management groups. Data.com — formerly JigSaw — is a B2B database associated with Salesforce.com. They like NetProspex are crowd developed. Look to trade publications. They all have a list of some sort. They may not manage their list, but they'll put you in touch with the appropriate people.
Hi Jeff, I have a software here in Ireland that target USA and Canada newspaper and magazines, where build large list of audience to my clients from their individual niche market.
We also design special pages to advertising products and services online, where target specifically the audience you are after and we using other software to get target traffic to those pages.
Hi Ruben,
I want to discuss about this software can we talk on the same my skype is ankit_universal
Ankit is right. Don't buy email lists.
Before emailing promotional content, always have a way to prove the recipient opted-in to receiving it. Setup a form on your website to collect email addresses that authorizes the user's consent to receive promotional content and drive traffic to that website using good searchable content and social media.
Good luck!
HI Tim, thanks!!
If you are a startup or something else how you can get opt-in from people. Its not that much easy. If you are working in specific industry than it might be helpful.
Hi Jeff,
This is Ankit Jain I have 8 years of experience in Email Marketing and now running an IT/Software company here in India. If you buy the paid list there are less chances of correct email address. I suggest you should get the email addresses manually from Google, Social Media etc.
You pay handsome amount to buy an email list and when you send the emails there are a lot of bounce and less responses. You should build your own email data.
Thanks
Ankit
hi ankit, by harvesting emails through google and social media, how do you avoid spamming people who have not given permission to receive email communications from the sender?
Jeff!! you will get 1 complaint out of 10K emails.. I did the same thing for 8 years in North and South America till 2013 Dec.
You need to have an unsubscribe link in your email campaign and if you doing it via VPS or any desktop based application you can use servers from out of USA. I cannot say everything here if you need more consulting please connect over skype my skype is ankit_universal
hi jeff, can you share some of these other ways to find lists?
