It can be a little frustrating when a client chooses to work with you because of your insight and expertise, and then the client ignores all of your input, only to complain later that "it didn't work".
Dropped a large client that was a positive contribution but not meeting the target profit margin %. I preferred to keep the client and work to improve. CEO wanted to move on. Lots of times I felt I was right but did the opposite because the team or boss decided otherwise. It is called leadership. You need to follow as well as lead.
Finally started my own business later so I could make my own mistakes.
