Does anyone have an automated solution for backup to Google drive?
Has anyone looked at automated backups to Google drive in terms of software offerings?
It should be encrypted before it goes up to protect your data.
Googlesynch is too risky as it replicates everything both-ways and not encrypted.
Ideally a tool which doesn't need the master software to restore would be the way to go.
I have narrowed down:
syndocs
fbackup (or backup4all)
synrecovery
Many other options, but you must have same backup software to restore at all which is too locked in.
Anyone used any of these?
Google Drive itself is utilized as a backup. It is cloudbased, if you are loosing data it is in the use of google tools not kept on or working in symbiosis with google drive. Google Keep for example and Google DOCS are not kept on Google Drive. but installing extensions which function is the transfer of files images and information into google drive. Effective Secure Time Tested Proven Methods available to all and at no cost.
Thanks Jeremy , and checking that one out.
