Does my business need a mobile app?
As a business owner I wonder does my business need an app? I have a website but is it enough? My restaurant is quite profitable and I always look for development opportunities. Any ideas?
Go for it!
A few things to keep in mind:
-Make sure that the app would add value and not something that they can replace with other food/restaurant apps
-Think long term, is it something that they will uninstall after some time, or is it something that they will continue engaging with
-You can never go wrong with an app that allows users to share their thoughts/profiles/personalities
I would say Yes and No Both,
But before you take any decision ask following questions
• Have you checked that your competitors are having such mobile app created
• Are they making any profit leveraging this platform
• How many orders you are making in a day?
• What will be the overall cost of developing such app?
• Do you have in-house IT staff to manage, maintain or upgrade this
• What offer you will provide to your customers who will place and order via mobile app
• Are you ready to do investment?
• And many more
I said Yes, because looking to the current trend of rising mobile app concept, many business owners are working on to touch base the audience from mobile app platform,
Some of the reasons why you should have mobile app
• Accessibility to the customers at all time
• Increase Sales
• Add value to you customer support
• Brand building and recognition
• Engagement with the customers
• Increase your customer loyalty
But one thing is sure having your own brand mobile app for your business can make lot many impact on users, you need to think on different business models and offers for loyal and regular customers
I said No, because its little more investment from your recurring cost, and platform such as Swiggy, Zomoto or any food delivery app can serve the purpose, so maybe you can be a part of that model.
Still you are confuse and not sure what to do , take a short survey which will help you understand more https://www.softwebsolutions.com/mobility-assessment.html
Hi, I guess an app is a great idea! You can think about building a progressive web app, its functionality includes working offline, push notifications, and device hardware access, enabling creating user experiences similar to native applications both on desktop and mobile devices. An interesting option for a restaurant is also building a location-based app.
You do not need an app. Instead, list yourself on food delivery services. What you can do is optimize your website and social media platforms to build a sales funnel that could lead to conversions.
First we need to know what exactly mobile app is, well its basically a computer program that could be used on the mobile devices such as, smart phones, smart watches and tablets etc.
Imagine the amount of usage of smart phones is almost 80% as we live in the digital world the human behavior has mostly enforced them to make maximum searches on their smart phones which is portable and they carry it with them this gave them the opportunity to surf the internet from anywhere and anytime. It has also been observed that almost 30% of the humans search for the mobile apps that is related to the product or service they want to get.
All of these factors have led to the boost in the mobile app development that also includes the selling of goods and rendering of the services. Currently the mobile device users have been recorded over 1 billion globally.
Following are the reasons of why you need a mobile app;
Accessibility to the customers at all time
Source of Direct marketing channel
Add value to you customer support
Brand building and recognition
Engagement with the customers
Stand Unique from the competitors
Increase your customer loyalty
Enhance Social Networking strategy.

I personally would say no unless there is some way that you can really utilize an app's ability to send special notifications.
I think you're better off with just a website and then using email and social media marketing to advertise specials.
Good app development can be expensive, I personally think the funds would be better used elsewhere!
