Does the LLC real estate have to go through escrow if my partner manages to force me out?
My partner and I formed an LLC to buyout my parent's equity in an RV Park. We went through escrow to put the LLC name on the title. The LLC debt on the park is $700,000; $200,000 is the new debt to my parents. I own 20% of the LLC. My partner wants me to either pay him $100,000 or leave the LLC with $0.00 (zero). My partner has invested approximately $40,000, I am the Park Manager yet my partner is making decisions without my agreement or knowledge at times. The LLC is silent on everything except that I must retain 20%. Can he force me out? And if one of us leaves the LLC does the RV Park have to go through escrow to remove that one from the park title?
