How can I create an intriguing landing page for my cryptocurrency platform which is in the pre-sale stage?
We have a crypto trading company in place. Now we would like to invite blockchain enthusiasts to our site and other contributors to invest in our promising and transparent platform. I need to know the words I can use to educate, but again, sell our idea in small descriptions. How can I go about it?
Your idea of teasing your concept via ‘small descriptions’ that gradually educate the reader is a nice one, but tricky to implement. There is always a danger that people will simply not have the patience to read through. If you go down this route, you’ll have to put some serious effort into producing content and creating enough of a buzz that people will WANT to know what it’s about.
There are some good rules out there for writing landing pages - a quick google will bring up a dozen decent articles. In brief, most of these suggest a three-point plan: present a number of ‘pain points’ (needs or problems your customers have); then tell people that you can solve them and why; finally, the ‘call to action’ which could be email you, buy, invest - whatever you want people to do.
Having said that, no one will be able to tell you exactly what words to use. Given that having a few pages of copy is hardly expensive compared to starting a tech company - and yet is vitally important - why not hire a professional writer? This small investment will save you a lot of time and hassle and likely pay off many times over.
