This is a very important discussion going on here. Yes, guys! I agree that we can improve our education institute in many ways. Well, right now I am searching for a writing service that can give me skilled writers to write my doctorate thesis. Then my colleague told me to use topwritersreview com writing service. Here I got many options of reputed service also and very happy with this service. You must read more about this website.
In my opinion, there are many ways to increase the quality of your studies at the institute. You need to read more info on different subjects to be more erudite. For example, articles like facts about the Chinese language or something like that. Do not hesitate to go to Wikipedia in order to learn something more.
First of all we should understand the problem come in education systen and put on all effort to eliminate that problem and go further Again see another problem and solve it so slowly slowly all problem will erase and system will make powerful.
Reduce academic documentation
Reduce the importance of burdening students to score more marks - atleast at lower grades and focus on relating phenomenon to concepts
Make students responsible for activities being held in the school, rather than burdening the teachers.
Make a teacher a facilitator and conduct all the FAs as projects rather than keeping pen-paper test. Government dosent ask you to conduct such tests
Provide numerical data, wherever necessary to improve student data analysis skills
Introduce skill development programs in schools - need not be a robot making, but definitely add a skill like being a cobbler, a radio mechanic, an electrician, a gardener, etc. These will really be handy at times
Teach every child agriculture. A child in international school asked me, how are bananas made and how is the fruit inserted in that yellow coat. We have become so mechanical, that the kids learn about robots, but dont understand the raw material used in designing the IC chips are silicon.
While I teach the kids, one i told them that we all are made up of the same carbon, nitrogen, oxygen atoms, one kid said, we do expel out carbondioxide gases, since we dont need it. This explains the importance of language in our curriculum. Give importance to language, dont teach them spanish/french, but teach them how to understand a concept.
As much as possible, introduce IT curriculum and tools in their projects. Encourage usage of calculators, sensors used in mobiles to understand the world. Its important that we need to know fractions, but who in this world is interested in calculating manually 123/347. we all resort to calculator only. so either them the usage of calculators or some softwares like excel. they will atleast understand data analysis.
Encourage the students to ask questions - however silly it can be. If the teacher dosent know how to answer it, atleast have one expert for a subject who knows how to google and pick up the right answer, so that he can explain it to student.
I can keep on adding , but so unfortunate that nobody follows it. Anyways, this is from my experience i have added it.
-Provide online forums
-Be active and reactive on social media
-Seek out feedback & apply it
-Create opportunities to engage with alumni
-Track and measure student activity
This had been a long time asked question, but now days all educational institutes searched for such answers, In my opinion all educational institutes must go with SchoolA2Z mobile app...and e-learning apps for easy management of education as well as easy management of the institutes.
Seek accreditation from a reputable accrediting agency. Hire the most qualified administrators and teachers, and pay them competitive salaries so they'll stick around. Provide ongoing student support so they don't get lost in the shuffle and drop out.
You should organize your institute's curriculum using a Learning Platform, if you haven't done it already. This way the students have access to their courses from home.
Here is a video how you can get started with that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3m-9LnPrGzk
Hope this helps!
Accreditation can help in a lot of ways 'cause accredited schools always have succeeded in helping their students benefit after graduation.
Accreditation by a respected body is a good first step.
I have a training business specialising in training leaders and coaches we sought accreditation from our professional body and also from respected business and training organisations in the countries which we operate
In addition to the questions below, we also need to know what type of education/training do you offer? Who is your target audience? Are you brick and mortar, virtual or both?
Where is the institute located?
Which subjects do you teach and to which age levels?
Perhaps if you could provide us with a link to your institute's website?
I think that can be a pretty broad answer and difficult to answer and get tangible results without more depth.
What are some of the current issues that you're facing and what are your goals?
