How can we apply an aggregate rating on product category pages?
I want to apply an aggregate rating on product category pages. I have a rating applied to individual products. For example, I have 15 products under men's shirt and I would like to show an aggregate rating of those 15 shirts on my men's shirt page (schema). How can I do this?
Also, if I do so, will it be considered as good practice or bad practice?
Aggregate rating on single products is fine if used with the correct schema markup. At the end of the day, it is entirely up to Google to show ratings in search results. It only adds the most relevant information to the searcher.
I would say that most likely your category pages wouldn't show ratings in search results because it is not a single item, although they also may.

First, I answer the second part of your question. It's a good practice, the first part of your question is technically need an expert in SMM and SEO, but you can start with just to create a page on Facebook, youtube channel and promote aggressively through your friends' relatives and then move on to hire some expert to help you out.
