How do I expand my meat shop business online?
I started a home based meat shop and would like to start by selling online. We currently have our friends ordering from us but we'd like to expand so that we will have more and more costumers. As I am now pregnant and have to be mostly at home to take care of my kids, this is the best means I thought of for additional income. I have posted information on twitter, instagram and facebook. How else can I possibly advertise the shop?
Forums are still quite often used. Try to find relevant forums. For example quite a few (upcoming) mothers join forums about either becoming or being a parent (at least where I live they do) and since they are often already busy enough with raising their kids they might well benefit from your service.
Hi Charm! Congrats on the business. I recommend using FB, Twitter and Instagram to drive people to join your mailing list which you can then directly market to.
Also, I would review your online purchasing flow and make sure it is as easy as possible for people to place an order.
Another idea would be to form partnerships with other businesses. An example that comes to mind with the holidays fast approaching is to get your products included in gift baskets.
Lastly, I would look into Twitter ads or Facebook Ads to get some cost effective and targeted ads running.
Hope that helps and best of luck!

Do you have a business page on Facebook? Business pages are a great way for customers and potential customers to connect with you. You can share updates and other information. It's also an easy way for friends to share your business without you having to "friend" every potential customer. Word of mouth is a great marketing tool. I would also suggest getting business cards, if you don't already have them, and leaving them wherever you can and handing them out at mom groups, your kids' parents, neighbors, teachers, husband's co-workers, etc.
Ok i'm not sure where your from meat kinda touchy subject well in the UK with all the regulations. So could other businesses buy from you a good example a restaurant. Local schools can you make something for the kids. Find a few grocery shops go in ask them would they sell your products.
