You can also use Twitter cards for your business

Tweet on recent trends to get audience from that trend.

i would say think about your target audience and perhaps focus on running a targeted campaign to increase the number of this target that follow you. if you already have followers of that type, ask them in your posts to recommend others. survey this type of audience and then post articles that meet their information needs and wants. the more you can focus on your audience and match their needs and wants, the higher the engagement you will get. it's no different to any other marketing. don't just go for numbers of exposure - go for good exposure with the right audience. cheers hunter

I don't know too much about marketing on Twitter, but Instagram is a great platform to get more exposure for your business. There are automated software tools you can use to get your post in front of targeted customers that have interest in what you are promoting or selling. It is called instaeasy. I've never tried it before, but I've heard it works great from other people. Give it a try, it won't hurt. It's not free by the way :)

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing (also known as data-driven marketing) is an umbrella term for the marketing of products or services using digital technologies, mainly on the Internet, but also including mobile phones, display advertising, and any other digital medium.

Why Digital Marketing?

1. You're directionless

I find that companies without a digital strategy (and many that do) don't have clear strategic goals for what they want to achieve online in terms of gaining new customers or building deeper relationships with existing ones. And if you don't have goals you likely don't put enough resources to reach the goals and you don't evaluate through analytics whether you're achieving those goals.

2. You're wasting money and time through duplication

Even if you do have sufficient resource it may be wasted. This is particularly the case in larger companies where you see different parts of the marketing organization purchasing different tools or using different agencies for performing similar online marketing tasks.

3. You don't have a powerful online value proposition

A clearly defined online customer value proposition will help you differentiate your online service encouraging existing and new customers to engage initially and stay loyal.

4. You're not optimizing

Every company with a website will have analytics, but many senior managers don't ensure that their teams make or have the time to review and act on them. Once a strategy enables you to get the basics right, then you can progress to continuous improvement of the key aspects like search marketing, site user experience, email and social media marketing.

So, Why Go Digital?

These days, without an online presence, it can be hard to compete and grow your business. And that’s where digital marketing comes in.
