How do I terminate and unwind relationship with month-to-month credit card processor?
While using credit car processor A, I went looking for new processor, as the back end reporting of A is poor. I followed steps here. Processor B recommended by SMB friend, that allowed customers to cover costs of charge with some pennies going to a veteran’s association. We spent many weeks defining offering and fees. However, before we ran any transactions with them, our company did a major directional shift on product pricing and we don’t want to distract customers with processor B’s fess explanation as we communicate our new pricing model. I therefore told the company that this was their 30 days’ notice Of intent to terminate. I never gave termination notice to my original processor A, and have been running transaction through their Vidtual portal this whole time. Is there a checklist of other steps I must take to unwind relationship with processor B? Anything I should look out for?
