Where do you see your business 10 years from now?
As business owners, most entrepreneurs have something a little bigger in mind than just success and money. What do you really want your business to accomplish in the next 10 years? How do you see yourself shaking up your industry?
10 years from now, business will still be steadily helping others to become successful. Money was never an issue, helping others has been the goal from THE START. I am the answer, to ANY current or future business problem, there isn't a business that cannot benefit from my expertise, knowledge, experience and ideas and that has not time limit short of death.
We have grown from a self funded start up in a spare bedroom in 1999 to a £250m organisation. The journey is far from over and we continue to grow. We are now in the process of expansion with an aim to double in size in 2 years. the goal for 10 years is too create the UK's largest cloud and data centre company servicing all aspects of the business world and acting as a support mechanism for anyone using the Internet for business.
You are absolutely right. You should allways build a 10 year strategy and from there a 3 years plan. Then correct. Environment and market elements have to be observed regularly.so you can respond adapting your business.
I can't, as I am blinded by my ego. As I open up my heart to feel the world and not to see the world, my ego moves and my vivid vision reveals - my humanistic robots serve my clients with great value and touches their hearts to bring about improvement in office quality of works and lifestyle. Clients shifted their labour force to focus on high values creation that requires intricate minds synthesizing and leave the rest to my robots to perform on their behalf.
My intention is to bring technology to a personal level at work while adopting a compliance to nature doctrine to ensure while we are pursuing human advancement, we should not overlook working in harmony with nature.

I was in the Industrial Coatings Business, selling wood finishes to furniture companies like Bassett Furniture, Wood Mode Kitchens, Martinsville Novelty...I thought the business would move toward more environmentally friendly coatings with less Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs)...Instead the majority of the wood furniture manufacturers moves to Asia where the environmental regulations were/are very lax...I am hopeful that the industry will realize that lower VOCs/HAPs finishes will start to be utilized and environmentally friendlier/safer wood finishes start to be applied both here in the USA, overseas and Mexico...
I'd like to write some books that help people think differently about business and continue offering coaching that does the same. I see myself shaking my industry up by continuing to take a very pragmatic approach to coaching that helps business owners understand the processes of business.

My business, Express Checkout, saves grocery shoppers about 5 minutes a week. With full usage at an average grocery store it can save shoppers a collective 7.5 years every year. In 10 years, with usage at 10,000 store locations, I see Express Checkout saving folks 75,000 years of waiting in line every year.
That's a great question. I see my business growing with outlets all over the world. We are already shaking things up by simply offering certain guarantees. Here is what we do different than any other training/ coaching or consultation company:
1. We developed a unique way to help businesses grow sales and enhance their customers experience by creating a synergy between consultation (1st step), training (second step) and coaching (third step).
2. Our initial consultation report provides the client with solutions to enhance and grow sales. It involves interviews with the client, their staff and customers as well as market research. Afterwards we sit down with the client to discuss their options. The client is always in the drivers seat and can chose what they would like to implement in their business.
3. Training is based on what our clients want to achieve and are ready to take on board from the consultation report they receive. The training focuses only on our initial consultation and is developed with the client and their team in mind.
4. Coaching is then focused only on the training. This enhances the focus of the coaching and leaves out the things that are not important and don't need to be focused on which in turn reduces the time spend on coaching.
5. We are providing a Sales Growth Guarantee and our work is mainly performance based. Which means, besides a small deposit, the client has nothing to lose and only pays us if we grow sales.
We already became a thorn to some companies selling sales trainings/ coaching or consultation by simply having this guarantee.
I personally believe that performance based results puts us as a company under pressure as well. As you can imagine, we do want to get paid but only if we achieve the results we promised. Depending on organisation we can achieve growth from 10 - 40% with many overachieving in a 12 month period.
We offer commission based programmes as well as upfront programmes where clients pay into an escrow account and can release the money once growth has been achieved.
I hope this answers your question. So, world domination is definitely a go. We are in our last year testing phase and will release next year a way for other coaches/ consultants and trainers to provide either a similar type service that brings guaranteed results for their clients and it will make it easier for any coach/ consultant or trainer to sell their services. That's what we're working on at the moment and so far it's a winner :-)
