What type of content should I share on my website?
I manage a job posting site and I'm hoping to use content to improve my site's ranking/promotion. I've heard that by creating consistent quality content, you can better promote your site but I'm not sure what type of content I can share since my site if a job posting site. Any advice?
My motto is to 'create content with a purpose.' Never just create content to just create content.
Answer these questions:
Who- What type of people would you like to be reading your content.
What- Then search for the type of questions and content those people are reading and searching for and create better!
Where- Where do you want them to end up once they land on your site? Create an account, join the newsletter, etc.
How- How will you get them to sign up. Pop-ups, inline call to actions, etc.
At a minimum, every piece of content should check these off. That way you know you are creating quality content for your target audience that can convert.
I hope this helps,

2. Secondly share interview tips for beginners and professionals
3. Additionally, share about latest skills that have more demand and jobs
4. Read articles on Forbes, Entrepreneur and Inc. and get some ideas from there

What type of content performs best on social media.. that’s a pretty loaded question! I think it certainly helps to narrow the scope as to what your objective of distributing content is, so the first thing I would say is to establish your goal, and identify your audience.
What platforms are they using?
How social media savvy are they?
What relationship do they want with a brand?
These are just some questions to help you get started! Here are a few generic tips for content which I think could apply to a variety of content strategies :
VALUABLE. If your content creates value, you’re golden. If it isn’t relevant for your audience, they’re gonna move on to the next best thing.
ENGAGING. What makes your content different? What experience are you offering your audience where they’ll get nowhere else?
EMOTIONAL. People are much more likely share and engage with not only valuable content, but content that resonates with them on an emotional level. Could you content strike a cord with you audience?
ACTIONABLE. Does your content have a call to action? Are audience members feeling motivated to do something?
Other specifics like visuals, such as GIFs, video, live streaming ect. are all great, but judge their use accordingly with each campaign! Hope this helps!
