How can I find new clients?
I'm looking to acquire new/additional clients. I have sent them emails and tried to call. Unfortunately, those tactics have not returned any response. Up until now, I have done everything that I can think of but I'm afraid it's been too outwardly self-promotional. I need assistance with this.
In today's world, there is a new paradigm method of attracting clients. l will attempt to highlights some of these new methods.
Since the advent of the internet/smartphones, marketing strategies and attracting new clients have changed. To attract new clients, therefore, you must do the following.
1. Enlist your product/service in as many listing sites as possible. Listing sites like business.com, google my business, binge, yahoo, many others
2. Understand what search engine optimization is and apply it to your product/service presence on the internet.
3. Write articles on the trendings in your industry and post on your timeline on the social media. This will assert your authority in the business areas you are dealing with.
4. Also do videos of product/service and post it on YouTube.
Remember that in today's business world, your prospective clients will go to the internet and do a search about you and your competitor before deciding who to do business with. It, therefore, behooves you to ensure you keep your online/social media presence visible. I hope these answer your question. Hello Adarsh,
Telemarketing or cold calling can be difficult without them knowing you in advance of your call. You really have to have a compelling offer these days when doing any kind of telemarketing or email marketing. The person you are calling has to trust that what you are offering will help them in their business. I have been a direct marketing list broker for over 12 years and there really is no magic bullet.
The first question we ask our new clients is: “Who is your Target market?” and sometimes they enthusiastically reply, “Everyone can use our product!” However, the general public is NOT your target market. It is essential that you narrow down your target market to the group of people most likely to buy your product or service because even though it’s possible that a random person might come along and buy your product you must narrow it precisely to your target market. This way you will see the BEST results!
Are you marketing to businesses or consumers at home?
If a business then who is the person in the business to listen to you? Their job title? Size or # of employees of the business? Revenue of the business? The industry or type of business.
If you are selling to consumers, are they homeowners? Renters? Their age range? Their income? Interests? etc.
There are many more options to choose from and without knowing your details it is difficult to know how to help.
