How to generate commercial property deals?
Commercial real estate values has significantly declined over the years but still you can't just take it out of the industry, we still plan to increase our commercial real estate holdings. To generate substantial amount of deals, I believe using traditional marketing only is not going to cut it.
There are many types of properties contained under the heading of commercial real estate. I am most familiar with multifamily commercial or apartment investing. Apartments are an extremely lucrative investment and can generate a significant return in a relatively short period of time. If you are interested in apartment investing, I first would recommend educating yourself. There are many excellent books on the subject. I would first recommend reading Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki.
Commercial real estate industry is more beneficial than any other real estate deals. Nowadays, tenants, buyers, sellers and investors are spending more and more time to get latest information or knowledge about commercial real estate deals and opportunities, so having a commercial real estate marketing strategy to attract clients and gain attention from them to generate leads is more important. Here I am discussing some ideas to generate commercial real estate deals:
1. Post your real estate profile on Commercial Databases.
2. Utilize your marketing material for promotional needs.
3. Make your own real estate website to connect with the audience.
4. Generate your social media profiles and make new connections with potential clients.
5. Establish yourself as a trusted firm.
6. Ask an outstanding broker to mentor you.
Have you considered starting a blog? I have seen many real estate professionals turn to blogging to enrich their businesses. There are many ways to use SEO within your blog to help you appear in search engine inquiries which is always good exposure. If you're not a writer by nature, there are many freelance writers who specialize in blog composure; you just tell them what your topic is and they do the writing for you. I happen to be one such freelancer, but there are many of us out there who build successful blogs for a living. Writers can be found at content firms such as WriterAccess.com, Textbroker.com, oDesk, just to name a few. You want a writer who is familiar with all the linking and keyword SEO practices. Hope this helps! Stacy Zimmerman
