Cold Calling,E Mail Campaign are the best ways to generate leads.Apart from these Social Media Marketing can also be useful.
I will be very frank with you and hope that you won't take my recommendations as offensive! I took a look at your site and found the following problems:
- Loose the flash animation for it is dead and it took forever for your site to load on my 100mb download speed! - Use HTML5 instead
- Once your site loaded, I got lost and was nowhere to be found - Too busy (in my humble opinion)
- You need to reduce the amount of requests - My browser took 157 trips just to be able to view your site the way you wanted me to see it
- Your page load is 5.5s - It is not bad but if you remove UN-nessary images (design), this will reduce in page size, load time and requests
To generate leads, your site has to first exists in the eyes of Google and other search engines! Then you will need to find a way to reach, at least, the first page of the search engine, then you will need to make sure that you bring only targeted traffic to your site and not just visitors, then you would need to provide them with quality content and not just keyword stuffed pages, then you would find a way to make your visitors stay on your site and then, convert them into customers.
My comment is not referring to other marketing venues you should use but instead, fix the problem you have at home (your own website) and then you can go out and approach your would be customers!
Again, please don't take my comment offensive for it was not intended to be!
There are number of ways to get visitors to the site.. If you are talking about PR(Page Rank) or Alexa please note that PR is no more used by google and does not help in SEO anymore.. The last time they released PR was 2 years back and am sure you had the same PR 2 years back too :).. If you expect results through Website then stop hoping that you will get the result by thinking Google will promote you Organically.. Its just not possible
Was just checking about ur site and you get 83% of your traffic through DIRECT mode and in the business you are in that's pretty bad.. You have been in business for more than 2 years and you dont even get 20 visitors per day
Your SEO team thinks building links is sufficient or you have bought links and again let me assure you it will not make any sense unless they are DOFOLLOW links and the way u have built links Google will think your site is SPAM
Now you are in pretty bad shape and the only way you can target on SEO is to write blogs within your site and focus on LONG TAIL Keywords more than short keywords like Website Designers etc and keep refreshing the Website with new content and resubmit the SItemap and work Robot.txt file well
Meanwhile use ADWORDS for getting visitors though it would be expensive and then follow them using Re-targetting with a timeline of 30 days.. Re-Targetting will take some time to perform since you do not have much traffic for it to have an impact.. Assuming you decide to invest on Google Adwords with a budget of $600 and get 3000 Visitor for the month by then you would have enough visitors to re-target and the budget of Re-targetting can be 30% of the Adwords budget.. Dont expect miracles in the First month.,, you need to continue for atleast 6 months and optimize the campaign for best results.
Dont use Social media esp Facebook for your business
And finally , am surprised that you have SEO services listed in your website.. Dude how do you expect to get results for clients when you are stuck
I have found some good ways to generate REAL leads are to do the following:
1. Write a short article once per day about something you do in your field; make it personal. Then you can solicit customers at the end of the article, stating your expertise and why "YOUR COMPANY" is the choice for them. Usually people reading these posts are looking for services on what you are posting about, so the response rates can be pretty good.
2. Create an "Offering" post on several websites - some are free (such as Kijiji or Craigslist) and others may cost money (some job posting boards allow you to post "Offering" ads). Business is always generated through supply and demand - there are always people demanding a good or service, it is your job to show them the supply. This leads to #3...3. Up the marketing budget. This can mean generating leads through online marketing measures (advertising on online mediums) which would probably be your best bet.
Hope this info helps!
Best is you create your pages in various social media like facebook, twitter, linkedin, tumblr etc. Use google ads and create dynamic site maps.

Hello Friends ! ..
Frankly speaking; I can't answer your broad (I have.. /we provide.. ??) question without knowing your site, therefor; your sales-cycle, your buyers persona (who are your customers), your keywords, your site structure (Silo!?), your (clean/robust/W3C compliant/bug-free) source code, your (black/grey/white hat?) back-links, your page-rank, domain age, your design (responsive mobile ready?/single or multipage page?), page-load speed, IP-Class type, your type of CMS, Youtube Video Channel and videos, your marketing strategy, social media presence, copy writing, level of competition, marketing budget.. and so on.
Above questions are from the top of my head so bare with; there are a lot of issues to consider and business angles to choose from. That is why I always offer a 1-hour free consult to see where the customer is at and what he/she/they want to accomplish. We hold no secrets and have no secret methods.. we offer custom solutions in an expanding ocean of customers.
Our customers often consider themselves 'lucky' to have found us since we make it an effort to also educate them so they both "learn & earn". I therefor suggest you to share your knowledge in a friendly and patient manner and suggest using simple metaphors to explain how things work (using the customers hobby as an example to relate to).

Do you know what your target customers actually want from their websites and how they would express that in terms of language, terminology? If you don't can I suggest you do some market research to find out. Once you know this tune your website messages, SEO and so on to closely match what your target customers are really looking for.
Tip #1. Go to near by meetups and meet with professionals who are looking for your service.
Tip #2. Create an online presence using social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and engage with others.
Tip #3. Participate in discussion forums that needs your expertise.
Even if these tips might not get you clients right away, it will help you build relationships that would turn in to clients. Most of our clients are entrepreneurs I met on meetups and helped them on some of their problems. Once I build the relationship, its easier to get their business. So help people solve their problems.
Thank you very much for your wonderful suggestions. I would really apply those ideas for my website. Our business is old. Website is unisoftinformatics(dot)com. We are getting leads directly and we have several clients internationally. We have expert team of web and mobile app designers and developers and we are in a process to make our small scale company to medium scale and then large scale. So we are now working of our website to generate traffic and as you suggested converting existing leads through the help of our website. So, now I am optimizing my site. Its pagerank is 3 but alexa rank is not much good.
I will now work according to your suggestions. Thanks again for your tips.
hi!, Firstly your website should be simple, easy to understand and interactive. Use an interface which connects from the mainframe and keep the people notified about it. This can be mentioned in your customer networking and it must be 24x7 . Florence MacDonald
Are you looking for local businesses first? Or do you want to focus on drawing in online customers? I'm not sure where you are in your start up but it seems that you are in the beginning stages. Also, I don't know where you are located, which can play a large role in how you would penetrate the market.
Finding some local business that need your services would be a great place to start. Keep in mind that website design is a fairly saturated market (meaning that there are usually a lot of other businesses providing the same service). With that being said, before you start to push your business I would suggest mapping out what your "unique selling point" is. What sets you apart from the competition that makes you the best choice for website design?
Once you have that worked out here are some ideas that you can use to generate leads/customers:
1. Join your local Chamber of Commerce and attend their networking events. You can also advertise through them to other local businesses.
2. Write a well written press release that you can distribute to your local newspapers and online news sites.
3. Have you started marketing yourself on social media? If not, start and post helpful tips about your industry. Become a resources of knowledge.
4. Create a generic mock site for a specific industry and approach all of the local businesses in that niche that don't have websites or could use a website refresh.
5. Are you well versed and knowledgeable in your field? Are you comfortable speaking in front of people? If so, connect with a local charity and run a training event about the importance of responsive/mobile web design. Donate the entrance cost to the charity. They typically have large mailing lists that they would push your event to.
I know these don't pertain to SEO but if you apply these then you will generate more website traffic and build a solid local presence. If you have a good call to action on your site they may convert into leads.
this is a very broad question so it's hard to give you a specific answer. The answer depends on your goals. Consider this, instead of generating more leads, would converting more existing leads be a better goal? That would mean you could work on conversion rate optimization. Also sounds like you need an SEO audit to identify quick wins, red flags and opportunities. I always teach best practices and going back to BASICS! There is always room for improvement in the basics. I'd do on-page evals and optimize the code for SEO, maybe it's bloated causing slow page speed, maybe heading tags aren't used properly and maybe images are used as links. the list goes on
Well, the only thing which is going to help you is advertisement and promotional campaigns. Think it like this there's been a shortage of Apples and you have a trolley full of Apples loaded on your cart and you are looking to sell that, now the problem the is as peoples are looking for apples they don't know that you are selling apples, so now tell, how many apples you can sale ?? Probably one or two an that too at a loss because nobody know that you have ...Now consider the same situation but what you are going to add over here is every time some one purchase an apple you ask them to promote about you on their way to home and in lieu to that give them one extra Apple. So, now you are getting good promotion and people to, what you can do now is double the price and at the end of the day I guess you can sell almost all the Apple you have at a profit. So, the idea over here's first of all try promoting yourself ! And rest I guess there isn't any need to ...
