How to get visitors to the site and generate leads for website design and development servicecs?
I have my own website. We provide website design and development company. I am working for SEO and want to generate leads for my business. Please suggest some tips.

Cold Calling,E Mail Campaign are the best ways to generate leads.Apart from these Social Media Marketing can also be useful.
I will be very frank with you and hope that you won't take my recommendations as offensive! I took a look at your site and found the following problems:
- Loose the flash animation for it is dead and it took forever for your site to load on my 100mb download speed! - Use HTML5 instead
- Once your site loaded, I got lost and was nowhere to be found - Too busy (in my humble opinion)
- You need to reduce the amount of requests - My browser took 157 trips just to be able to view your site the way you wanted me to see it
- Your page load is 5.5s - It is not bad but if you remove UN-nessary images (design), this will reduce in page size, load time and requests
To generate leads, your site has to first exists in the eyes of Google and other search engines! Then you will need to find a way to reach, at least, the first page of the search engine, then you will need to make sure that you bring only targeted traffic to your site and not just visitors, then you would need to provide them with quality content and not just keyword stuffed pages, then you would find a way to make your visitors stay on your site and then, convert them into customers.
My comment is not referring to other marketing venues you should use but instead, fix the problem you have at home (your own website) and then you can go out and approach your would be customers!
Again, please don't take my comment offensive for it was not intended to be!
There are number of ways to get visitors to the site.. If you are talking about PR(Page Rank) or Alexa please note that PR is no more used by google and does not help in SEO anymore.. The last time they released PR was 2 years back and am sure you had the same PR 2 years back too :).. If you expect results through Website then stop hoping that you will get the result by thinking Google will promote you Organically.. Its just not possible
Was just checking about ur site and you get 83% of your traffic through DIRECT mode and in the business you are in that's pretty bad.. You have been in business for more than 2 years and you dont even get 20 visitors per day
Your SEO team thinks building links is sufficient or you have bought links and again let me assure you it will not make any sense unless they are DOFOLLOW links and the way u have built links Google will think your site is SPAM
Now you are in pretty bad shape and the only way you can target on SEO is to write blogs within your site and focus on LONG TAIL Keywords more than short keywords like Website Designers etc and keep refreshing the Website with new content and resubmit the SItemap and work Robot.txt file well
Meanwhile use ADWORDS for getting visitors though it would be expensive and then follow them using Re-targetting with a timeline of 30 days.. Re-Targetting will take some time to perform since you do not have much traffic for it to have an impact.. Assuming you decide to invest on Google Adwords with a budget of $600 and get 3000 Visitor for the month by then you would have enough visitors to re-target and the budget of Re-targetting can be 30% of the Adwords budget.. Dont expect miracles in the First month.,, you need to continue for atleast 6 months and optimize the campaign for best results.
Dont use Social media esp Facebook for your business
And finally , am surprised that you have SEO services listed in your website.. Dude how do you expect to get results for clients when you are stuck
I have found some good ways to generate REAL leads are to do the following:
1. Write a short article once per day about something you do in your field; make it personal. Then you can solicit customers at the end of the article, stating your expertise and why "YOUR COMPANY" is the choice for them. Usually people reading these posts are looking for services on what you are posting about, so the response rates can be pretty good.
2. Create an "Offering" post on several websites - some are free (such as Kijiji or Craigslist) and others may cost money (some job posting boards allow you to post "Offering" ads). Business is always generated through supply and demand - there are always people demanding a good or service, it is your job to show them the supply. This leads to #3...3. Up the marketing budget. This can mean generating leads through online marketing measures (advertising on online mediums) which would probably be your best bet.
