How to stay connected with your customers while social distancing?
I want to hear tips on how I can connect with my customers during the COVID-19 crisis while maintaining social distancing. I'd like to still meet my goals to increase sales and keep customers satisfied.
Social media is the perfect platform to stay connected with your customers even during this pandemic time. You can engage your clients or customers by sending some kind of the useful articles and tips after the email subscription. Notify them about the latest offers, products, and services with push notifications, SMS, etc.
Start off with a general follow-up - either by call or email. Let them know that you think of them as valuable customer and that you aren't necessarily trying to sell them anything during these rough times. They will appreciate you checking in on them. If possible, call them on the phone as that connects people emotionally better than sending emails.
You can also think about starting a newsletter if you haven't already. Update your customers regularly about what is going on with your life and business. Of course, your intention is to talk about your products or services, but make it human by also chiming in a little about your personal accomplishments and happenings - such as a recent trip you took, or a personal event in your life.
Taking these little steps really help in forming genuine bonds between you and your customers. And they'll realize that you aren't just a money-sucking device! They'll remember your company more than your competitors, for certain.
