How do I best target the UAE market?
I am working on a project that offers online deals in UAE / online shopping deals in Dubai. I want to target UAE region specifically. What will be the best practices for getting traffic from UAE and getting quality leads. Looking for best suggestions that can produce results.

Since you're promoting online shopping deals in UAE, I suggest you test paid media on the leading shopping sites in UAE such as Dubizzle and Souq.
Also try targeted emailing to trusted, properly opted-in email lists as well as programmatic buys with audience and channel targeting. If your audience is young, also test paid media buys on mobile (in-app, mobile sites and/or with cross-device targeting where you can catch people on all the devices they access the Internet with and remarket accordingly).
The good thing about everything I'm suggesting is you can usually test with a small budget to start to see how things go. Then for those channels that perform best, invest more money over time.

Hey Fouzia, I don't know a ton about Dubai or UAE but figured I'd try answering. To best target the UAE market I'd recommend advertising wherever your target demographic is.
So the first question you should ask yourself is, "What is my demographic?" Will more men or women use your project? Will people in a certain age range be more likely to use it?
After that, I'd use paid or free advertising wherever that demographic interacts. I haven't tried to target directly but there's a decent chance Google Adwords, Facebook, etc allow you to target people from there. You could also try posting in free communities that people in your demographic visit.
Targeting a market is always a strategic Goal.
I can suggest you to use adwords for your campaigns or SEO strategy for a longer time period. But Cold calling always helps. It gives you decisions in a quick time. Also you can work on the Pipeline that is generated.
