I just created a WordPress blog page. How do I maximize its exposure?
I have been posting my blogs on my website (www.haloheals.com) and through mosaicHUB. I was encouraged to create a WordPress blog site (halohealthintl). What do I need to do to maximize its exposure?
SEO is the best way. What questions are your customers asking? Answer those questions by using SEO to be there.
Think "Globally"
Take my word and begin with a small Facebook ad campaign, like $20 for an entire campaign. You'll definitely see good results.
I have been personally running ad campaigns on Facebook for my clients and the results have been always successful. There's also a very strong reason behind using social media ads over ppc advertisements as the visitors are much likely to purchase digital items/products and are likely to surf the website for a longer time period.
Here's my answer to a similar case: http://www.mosaichub.com/answers/question/i-launched-a-new-website-announced-it-on-linkedin#44932
I hope this solves your problem and I wish you good luck!
Broadcast your post on all social media sites that WP has access to or manually load the articles on each SM accounts you have. Use Reddit for increasing the exposure.
SEO on site, and link backs, try to contact other bloggers and see if you can do a link exchange.
You need to find blog aggregators and add your blog posts. Blogapedia and Blogged are two sites that aggregate blogs, but you need to submit to them. There are a lot of free places to submit your blog, and you can set your account up to submit automatically. You might also do a search for health blogs, and see where they are listed.
One thing worth doing is to search for similar blogs and go and join them and affirm their posts, to create a level of reciprocation
Hi Jim,
Whilst trying to maximise your exposure - it be best to start at the website - after all, getting people to a website is usually the hardest step and you wnat their experience to be good.
to start by having a clear message on your website, at present its to muddled, doesnt express exactly what you do in 8 seconds.
Then look at how you market the site, the keywords are not relevant or used in Google - more keyword research is needed.
Look at page load speeds of the site.
Perhaps get a new website - Wordpress platform, not wordpress.com site/blog.
So once you promote your site people will have a good experience when reaching the site. Currently quite poor.
THEN promote the site!!
Promote is across social media.
LinkedIn.
Write blogs that are engaging and interesting, yours currently are too short and not optimised. (Black writing on blue background, difficult to read!!)
Plus a lot more...
Check out the WordPress Yoast SEO Plugin. This is the easiest, and most comprehensive, SEO tool for WordPress.
When you start typing in the keyword you want to target for, the plugin will offer suggested long tail keywords you can use to get maximum exposure. Then, follow it's easy guidelines for how to rank for that word. It will give you a grade of green, yellow, or red, depending on how well it ranks, and suggestions for how to improve that rank, such as adding a featured image or including the keyword in a heading.

I got interested on what you are working on. I visited your website and got the idea. My suggestion would be connecting directly with services providers (Drs, Meds, RNs, and even admin assistants). I go to Drs frequently for my sweethearts, for myself, for support, for my family well being in general. And I am amazed of the waste of time some us could experience. There are phones, yeap, magazines ok...but what about learning more tips helping us live a healthier life while waiting? There are lots of ways around your idea and also remember most of those providers are completely busy. Connect with them directly and shortly. Leave a demo in their office, find out why they could not be interested. Offices work under different cultural settings so that is something to keep in mind as well.
The idea of an app is interesting though costly probably at this time.
Connect with their admin assistants, ask them few questions, send them questionnaires just to ponder.
Follow up with them frequently. Find a way they give you feedback.
They all will be concerned about value against cost, so be prepared.
Take care.
Hi Jim, there are many ways to gain exposure but the newest most impactful way is to build an app that becomes a nice show and tell about your business. Within that app would of course be a feature to prioritize your blog. The mobile device is the access point to all things digital and can be instantly shared while it is being shown. Jim,
I believe you want a succint list of "on page" & "off page" SEO recommendations.
There was one recently posted on another answer which I liked.
Good Luck!

Hi Jim, I'm in no way affiliated with Don Crowther, but I highly recommend his Content Max online training program. It includes tons of information about how to get the most out of your blog content. He is a great teacher and the content is mostly in video format with some worksheet downloads. Cost is around $200 including a 30-day money back guarantee.
