Launching a startup in the US market. How do we drive adoption(sales & marketing) with limited resources?
Company was launched in 2010(Israel) and has 200+ clients across Israel, Europe, and Asia. Mobeleon’s patent pending mobile adaption technology provides a hybrid solution that takes the strengths of responsive and adaptive web design to provide the ultimate web experience across all mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, Smart TVs, future devices).
I will advice you to use Six Sigma.
I have headed the IT department of various companies and I was always under constant pressure to reduce IT expenditure and provide more to my company.

From my perspective, I'd consider partnerships with the e-commerce and CMS platforms as one route to gain scale fast. Would be glad to chat with you.
Don't get me wrong about this but unless you message is centered on your prospects desires and emotions - you're just a techno-geek spewing techno-speak.
Once you have a reasonable message, you might follow the info below that I just posted on another question. The only thing you may have to watch out for is the fact you are not in the US and some facilities of Google might be restricted.
Anyway, here's the post:
One of the best follows this structure (and yes I can be hired for more info):
Create G+ account, Business Page & Topical (niche) Community Page
Create a YouTube account and topical channel
Create a series of 2-4 minute "infomercial" videos (with your talking head!) and put them on your channel (in sets of playlists for sub-topics)
Optimize the YouTube channel, video, and playlist entries (for SEO etc.)
Start having regular Hangouts On Air (HOA, Google/YouTube free broadcast facility) this can be done "privately" within your G+ Community or publicly
Be sure to use G+ Events to help publicize your HOAs
Post topic rich articles on your G+ page and then include them in your blog via iframes (real good SEO from Google this way)
Sorry, did I mention create a website with a blog...
Follow this scheme and you will match or beat almost anyone (even those with money) in your field!
Good luck!
Dear Jeff, you may consider a mfr rep or broker to represent you in markets where you wish to go and don't have the finances to put people in place or to spend heavily on marketing. Perhaps the independent rep/broker can get you visibility with his customers. Just a thought to consider. Perhaps a blog, activity on Linked In, etc will help as well.

Jeff...once I know more, I can suggest the best thing/things for you to do with limited resources. I need to know more about who your your ideal clients are. Then, I'll do some research and provide you with valuable information on how to dominate your industry.
Hi Jeff -- you need the right contacts at the right companies. And you know this, since you've already launched and have 200+ clients... Partnering with a like-minded co here in the US who already has a sales operation in place is one option. Finding a company/people who want to invest & "own" the tech here in US. Question is: who's the right American target?
Most big players are doing /building their own responsive/adaptive design in-house for their properties. Even smaller companies.
What's the value-add of Mobeleon's vs. others (I know you know this!!).
If your target is B2B, you need a clear explanation in American English of what your product does that you may then distribute via your web site, social media, etc. It can also serve as the launch point for seeking earned media. I can help you with all of that. Email me at wbtphdjd@ gmail.com.
you can license the item regionally or statewide ,you can franchise ,you can co-brand with a non-profit
Hi Jeff,
We actually have someone in-house who has direct experience with launching/bringing Israel based startups in the U.S. To give you an actionable strategy and advice that's relevant, it is a longer conversation than a paragraph.
If you are looking to target companies or agencies (B2B), one way is to hire a firm like us to do customer discovery. We have developed expertise in B2B customer discovery and loyalty programs.
Make sure your messaging is competitive with others in a similar space and you know exactly the profiles of your target customer. Once you have done that, start looking into where your target customers congregate (that's also something we help our clients with) and network your way in. Leverage mosaicHUB and LinkedIn.
If you are a marketing directly to individuals (B2C), one way is to hire a firm like us to develop strategies for customer development and create a creative go-to-market strategy. Or, better yet, get creative. Write informative/engaging content and publish/promote your content/posts in various places such as here (mosaicHUB), LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. Engage with web designers and engage with startup communities in big-city hubs.

You are obviously going after B2B client but you must define the market very well. Who uses that? Web designers? Interactive agencies? Advertising studios? If so the way our industry buys is via conferences, word of mouth, partnerships, relationship based marketing will have to be the key...social media mostly Linkedin but you need to have prior relationships OR advertise. Create a demo you can send to agencies. Show them what they get and how it's going to make $ for their clients. Define value proposition they can't refuse and approach them as a partner. Create content around problem / solutions that has to do with the ability to deliver content users want at the time they want it and in any format they want to receive it.....information on demand caters to user's behavior which is crucial in increasing delivery and responsiveness rates.
Focus on benefits for customers, partners and what problems you are trying to solve. Cherry pick your clients who are well connected vertically so working with them exposes you to potentially other clients and at that point you are coming recommended by someone they already trust.
Find a marketing automation solution that matches your budget. If Eloqua and Marketo are out of your scope, something like Act-On might be a better fit. Deploy your content across all channels using some social media weaponry to amplify your messaging. Catch leads, nurture, close, repeat.
Determine who buys what you sell. Define your target market. Define your ideal client. Determine where they go to get the information they need to buy. Use the marketing equation in all of your advertising, materials and communication - Interrupt, Engage, Educate and Offer.
I think you would need to do some research first into the US market as to proof of your concept.. At first glance, I think you will find that responsive and adaptive web designs are already established in the North American markets through widely accepted web platforms such as WordPress.
SEO, Blogs, Article Submission, Viral Marketing, Direct Mailers are all free of cost and can bring great visibility to your brand if leveraged properly.
