What should the long-term objectives be to enhance the customer satisfaction of a supermarket?
What are some long-term (spanning for a period of 3-4 years) objectives that can be included in a strategic marketing plan for enhancing the overall customer satisfaction of a supermarket (medium-sized business)?
I think it is important to ask what your customers daily objectives are in shopping at the supermarket. Selection? Price? Convenience? Staples? Prepared Foods? What do they want/need out of their daily shopping experience? From there, you can set your goals and hitting those objectives. And remember, you likely won't be able to satisfy all of your customer segments so focus on the core few that allow you to build a lasting customer relationship and a sustainable business model.
