Need to build my moving and storage business in the DMV area, what do you suggest?
Moving and storage, on the commercial side, need to build my brand and brand awareness, any suggestions?
Besides the excellent advice above, reach out to potential customers by attending business networking events where you are most likely going to meet them: the local Chamber of Commerce, professional organizations, B2B events, and so on. And, as I tell my clients, never leave home (or the office) without a supply of business cards! But make sure those cards have all of your contact information, the range of services you provide, and your website info (or QR code that will link to your website).

Hi Hampton, I'm going to respond to your question from my own expertise with your type of business. As a search marketer I have found that moving and storage business is widely searched on Google at least in Toronto where I am from it is. Companies that have implemented a SEO/SEM strategy have found good success with it. 1) Due to the lack of competition and 2) because of the fact that there are a decent amount of online searches for your type of business. I don't know why but when people think about storage or moving the first place the go look is online. At the same time you are implementing your search strategy you will be building your brand and website authority. It goes hand in hand.
Let me know if you have any questions.
