Should I invest in an exhibition to attract new customers?
It is a professional industry exhibition, I visited it last year, so many visitors from this industry and they flew from different countries in the world. I approached most companies who have stands there and had some connection with the other visitors as well. So many of them showed interest in my products but no one actually buys.
My products are marketing gifts related to this industry.
I wonder if it is worth investing in this exhibition this year?
Successful salesmanship is all about persistence. Initial contacts have to be followed up through e-mails, phone calls and continued participation in events like trade exhibitions that place you in contact with your targeted customers. By attending a second show, you will now have the opportunity to cement your initial contacts and demonstrate the seriousness of your commitment to new client penetration. Be prepared for these shows by defining what your objectives are in terms of the number of clients visited and conversions. The latter may not occur during the exhibition and will require persistent follow-up, which you must undertake to do. Mix with other visitors as much as possible and attend presentations. Always seek to obtain business cards and other collateral from the people that you meet who fit your client profile.
Most companies use advertising specialties as gifts for their clients or employees so you are well placed to expand your client base from these exhibitions.
Of course! You should invest in an exhibition because it is the best opportunity to attract the attention of maximum potential clients. It is indeed a platform where you can present your brand in a creative manner. However, you have to visualize how to achieve your objective initially and seek exhibit solutions from the best design & build company.
Yes. This is the fastest way to get new clients.
It is a secret that most new and old businesses don't utilize in growing their business.
Go to smaller ones and you will be the only one from your niche and they are cheaper.
Go to continued education events.
Most industries have them. They are always one going on on the weekends for just 8 to 10 hours. They are more intimate as you will have the time to talk to people.
Some of them are between 80 to 300 dollars to exhibit at.

Yes, and the answer will always be yes. It shows your quality and difference from others and also you will have the chance to see many customers in one place without moving. You will not travel they will come to you. If you have doubts in mind that you will have fewer visits than try to make it more with some efforts.
Excellent answer. Thank you. I just attended an exhibition and lots of people liked my products and there were no competitor exhibits there. I got 4 small orders during and after the exhibition in 1.5 months time and will keep following up with those clients.
I am planning on attending the same exhibition again on 2020. I am thinking of sending a marketing email saying: "Orders reached xxx dollars before xxx, get a free marketing chance in our stand in xxx exhibition in 2020. Marketing material will be provided by yourself."
